Mickey Cobb is a founding partner of the firm and specializes in real estate matters, conducts real estate closings, and handles all aspects of the assemblage, acquisition, financing and development of properties into residential communities. Mr. Cobb handles the negotiation and closing of land and lot acquisitions, the negotiation and closing of land development, construction and permanent home loans, the conducting of title exams and the issuance of title insurance, and the representation of homeowner and condominium associations.
Mickey received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Vanderbilt University 1962, where he was a member of Sigma Chi social fraternity. He then received his Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University 1965 and was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Mickey served as Special Assistant United States Attorney, Northern District of Georgia, 1972-1973. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Tennessee and American Bar Association.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Cobb moved to Atlanta after serving his military commitment and his appointment in Washington, D.C. as a lawyer with the Justice Department. His wife Celia and two daughters are living here in the Atlanta area. He is the proud grandfather of three. He is a member of Piedmont Driving Club, Capital City Country Club and The Manor.
